SongHub Background Video and TV Use
How to add BGV clips, optional subfolders, and tips for Android TV.
Background videos go in SongHub/bgv/. Optional subfolders (for example Nature, Motion, Dance) help you organise themes. Supported types typically include .mp4, .mkv and .avi — check your build’s notes if a file fails to play.
On Android TV, SongHub is built for remote and D-pad navigation. Heavy high-resolution loops can stutter on weaker boxes; shorter clips or lower resolution are safer. Photos in bgphoto/ are a light alternative when video is too heavy.
